National Employ Older Workers Week (NEOWW), held annually, recognizes the vital role of older workers in the workforce. This year, FatCat Studios was chosen to create a poster that aims to increase awareness of this labor segment and showcase the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP), which provides on-the-job skills training to individuals 55 or older with limited financial resources.
The NEOWW team liked the idea of a poster that portrays older workers as Super Heros — Guardians of the Work Force. Our goal was to illustrate older workers defending their place in the workforce and showing them confidently standing strong amongst their younger colleagues.
Our designer, Heather, blew them away with her beautiful illustrations. NEOWW was so pleased with the options we presented, they opted to use two versions, instead of one! Because NEOWW is recognized worldwide, we also created Spanish adaptations of each version.
